BEGINNERS INTRODUCTION TO FUSED GLASS WORKSHOP

Workshop fee: $349.00 and we are offering a $60.00 off coupon making the total price only $289.00.  Your workshop fee includes all patterns, materials, use of our molds and forms, tools and kilns.

Dates: This is an on-going workshop that we often do to fit someone’s schedule and you may call about that. However, we have set up the following starting dates for this workshop:

April 7-10, 2011, May 4-7, 2011, June 1-3, 2011, July 6-9, 2011, August 3-7, 2011, Sept 1-3, 2011

You will make a set of 4 fused glass coasters or a spoon rest or an eyeglass rest or a bowl or dish.

You will learn how to cut glass, grind glass, fuse glass, slump glass and you will learn how to program a kiln, prepare a kiln, work with kiln wash and fire a kiln.

Our workshop can make the difference between “just doing” and “doing well.

This is a 12-16 hour workshop and you can do it in 2 full days or Four 3 hour sessions at your convenience. Should you require an additional day you may have it at no extra charge.  The firing will be done in the evening while you are gone so your piece once fused is ready to for the slumping firing.

Workshop limited to 4 students.

You can create a set in checker board fashion, stripes or whatever design you can think of or we will have some patterns for you to choose from.

No glass cutting knowledge needed. We will teach you that also.
